ANNSICHTSSACHE reimagines Graz’s Annenstraße—one of the city’s most diverse yet socially and economically challenged urban areas—as a space for shared reflection and future–making. The exhibition connects historical perspectives, local initiatives, and speculative visions for a greener, more inclusive neighbourhood.

Developed as a student-led initiative without a production budget, the scenography emerged directly from material constraints. All exhibition elements were built from found, repurposed, and gifted materials sourced through local community networks. These materials shaped a dense, plant- filled spatial landscape of individual stations, where content, atmosphere, and sustainability were inseparable.

My role included concept development, the design and construction of several exhibition stations, and coordination of the public programme. This involved working closely with local stakeholders and organising a discussion event that activated the exhibition as a platform for dialogue beyond the physical installation.

The project strengthened my interest in community-oriented and ecologically grounded exhibition design, where material choices, spatial storytelling, and participatory formats work together to shape public discourse.inseparable.
